The custom fitted waterproof magnetic case enables you to quickly and easily install the device anywhere from in the glove department, under the seat, under the vehicle or hood. The covert GPS tracking system is also great for use on industrial equipment, boats and lots of other items. You can program your unit to update the frequency of the information, which includes last stop, street address location of the vehicle, the speed the vehicle is traveling at and the time. All this is done simply by using your laptop or desktop computer. There is no need for you to be an engineering genius to operate these units.

Advantages of Having a GPS Vehicle Tracking System Installed

It seems that everywhere you look there is a GPS advertisement, and for good reason. This system, when installed in a vehicle can help you in a variety of different situations. However, while all of this technology can be a wonderful thing to have at your fingertips, knowing how to use it can be a bit overwhelming. The following information is a general guide to most GPS vehicle systems and will help you navigate through the buttons and options with ease.

Perhaps one of the most important and emotional reasons to have a GPS vehicle tracking system installed in your car is the ???panic??? button. This button is to be used in cases of emergency. This can include everything from a fender bender to a carjacking, what ever the reason, when this button is pushed an operator at the GPS carrier can immediately listen to what is happening. If it is safe, and there is no robbery taking place, they will talk to you and help to asses the situation. If, however, they determine that it would be detrimental to speak to you, they will contact the authorities for you.

For instance, if you, or your children, lock you out of your car, it can easily be unlocked by phoning into the call center of the service you choose. This is also a very handy feature if you tend to lose your car in a crowded parking lot, they will find it for you and send the lights flashing and the horn honking for you. Maybe the best thing about being able to call for help in these types of situations is that you don???t have to actually see the grins on the faces of the people you are speaking with.

If you happen to be traveling in your car and it begins to show signs of a mechanical issue, or perhaps it completely breaks down and leaves you stranded in the middle of nowhere, you will have the peace of mind of knowing that you only have to push a button and help will be summoned. Most systems will have this particular button labeled as a ???communication??? button.

For many parents, this device can give them peace of mind. It gives them the ability to call and check upon the exact whereabouts of a car that is being driven by a child without directly interfering with their plans.

The most obvious reason to have a GPS vehicle tracking system is in a situation where your car is stolen. If you ever become a victim of vehicle theft and are lucky enough to have a GPS system installed all you will need to do is to inform your GPS carrier of the theft. They can track the cars??? exact location and its speed, when the vehicle has been located, they will call police to recover it for you.

The advantages of having a GPS vehicle tracking system installed are numerous, but beware of what you are paying for before you sign on the dotted line. Find out exactly what options your plan covers and what the monthly service fee is. Make sure also, that your system is being installed by someone who is licensed to do so.

Cell Phone GPS Tracking

The development of communications technology has long since surpassed the sole ability to access others when they are mobile. Today, mobile communication devices are becoming much more technologically advanced and offer more than the ability to just carry on a conversation. Cell phone GPS tracking is one of those advances.

GPS or Global Positioning System tracks your location by interpreting the data received from 3 or more satellites. This has made GPS a popular feature in cars as a navagational aid.

All cell phones constantly broadcast a radio signal, even when not on a call. The cell phone companies have been able to estimate the location of a cell phone for many years using triangulation information from the towers receiving the signal. However, the introduction of GPS technology into cell phones has meant that cell phone GPS tracking now makes this information a lot more accurate.

With GPS technology now more commonplace in many new cell phones, this means that the location of anyone carrying a compatible cell phone can be accurately tracked at any time. Cell phone GPS tracking can therefore be a useful feature for business owners and fleet managers who need to be able to keep track of their vehicle movements.

Cell phone GPS tracking can also be a useful feature to the emergency services or police when responding to a 911 call from a GPS cell phone. For this reason, the FCC has legislated that wireless networks provide location information for 911 calls made from cell phones. These are known as E911 calls.

As technology advance even further, future features will be even more powerful. Imagine GPS cell phones used as a navigational device. Based on the cell phone GPS tracking signal, they could be used to find your way to a location, calculate your speed based on your location change over time, from this calculate your estimated arrival time, suggest an alternative route and even phone the person you are calling to see with your ETA! Of course in car GPS navigation systems can already perform many of these tasks, however it is the portability of cell phones that makes them so useful for this technology.

Cell phone GPS tracking could also be used to locate the whereabouts of your children and offer protection to elderly relatives should something happen and they need urgent assistance.

These features will help to secure the future of cell phone GPS tracking providing advantages for all.

Article Marketing - Tracking Article Propagation by Tracking Clicks to Your Webpage

Tracking by Clicks

This is another effective method of tracking the propagation of your article, although it is geared more towards tracking the effectiveness of your article or article submission process when you are submitting for the purpose of generating immediate article directory clicks rather than mass-submitting for backlink purposes.

To do this, you can use adtracking software, or you can design a separate opt in page or web page for each different article directory you use.

If you are using adtracking software, simply include the adtracking link to your bio instead of your regular website link, and you will be able to track the number of clicks from each article directory. This allows you to determine exactly which article directories are most effective for your style and topic genre.

Instead of using adtracker software, you can assign a different webpage for each article source, and place the link to that particular webpage in each article that is submitted to a particular article directory. As long as you can view the individual pages results in your website traffic tracking software, this is quite effective.

If your traffic tracker does not offer the ability to view visitors by page, you can use your autoresponder opt in code to do the work for you. Some autoresponders like aweber, (which I use) can show you the number of times a particular opt in form is shown, and they also show you what percentage of unique web hits that you have received becomes a subscriber. This is an additional method of determining which article directories are most effective at generating clicks, and also allows you to compare the responsiveness of different visitors based on their article directory source.
